Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals

The Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals has been a supporter of a Black Reformed movement over the years through its sponsoring of "The African-American Pastors' Conference" in 2001. They exists to call the twenty-first century church to a reformation that recovers clarity and conviction about the great evangelical truths of the gospel and that then seeks to proclaim these truths powerfully in our contemporary context.

Dr. Philip Ryken, Senior Minister of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia, PA and Council Member of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals has recommended Reformed Blacks of America on Reformation 21, the online magazine of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. Cyrene Ministries

Cyrene Ministries exists for the purpose of setting forth the Doctrines of Grace in a cultural context from which they have been conspicuously absent. They believe the Biblical light of the Reformation and its clarion call to gospel truth is the best means of uplifting and enlightening the church today. Also, if you have not already, I would strongly encourage you to purchase "On Being Black and Reformed" by Anthony Carter, one of the Brothers of Cyrene.

Anthony Carter is also blogging at Non Nobis Domine.

Despite the hurricane, the staff is committed to the New Orleans area and will continue serving there.
